Cryotherapy
What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions. It is an effective way to remove skin tags, benign moles, warts, sun spots, seborrheic keratosis and cherry angioma. Results in as little as one treatment.
Who is it for?
The Cryopen is a unique pen-like device allowing for more targeted treatments, meaning no healthy tissue will be affected during treatment. It uses liquefied nitrous oxide to destroy the tissue by freezing the cell. Cryotherapy is beneficial as it is quicker than other treatments and patients can be in and out in seconds. It requires no anaesthesia.
Cryopen is for anyone who is conscious of any benign lesions on the skin. Cryopen offers a non-invasive, virtually painless treatment that can effectively remove these unsightly growths. In many cases, just one session is all it takes to see noticeable results. Feel more confident in your own skin with Cryopen.

What to expect
-
Qualified Cryo practitioner Rebecca will carefully examine the affected area to determine if Cryopen is suitable for your specific condition. You'll receive a detailed explanation of how Cryopen works, the expected sensations during and after treatment, and the healing process. Rebecca will provide clear guidelines on how to care for the treated area to optimise results and minimise discomfort. The number of necessary treatments will be discussed based on the size and nature of the lesion.
-
The Cryopen device is applied directly to the lesion, freezing the affected tissue. Typically, multiple freeze cycles are performed with short intervals between them to ensure best results. After the treatment, Rebecca will review the area and provide additional aftercare instructions.
-
Subsequent appointments will be scheduled to monitor the healing process and evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. If necessary, additional Cryopen treatments may be recommended to achieve optimal results. Rebecca will continue to monitor the treated area and provide any necessary guidance or support.
